What is PEP
(Personalized Education Program)?
On March 27, 2023, Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 1 into law, expanding educational options for K-12 students. Through the Personalized Education Program (PEP), parents can direct their child’s learning while accessing funds via an education savings account (ESA). PEP students can participate in hybrid learning at Alta Career Academy, which is an approved PEP Hybrid School.

As an approved PEP Hybrid School, Alta Career Academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and provides students with the option of attending classes in-person at least twice a week while also homeschooling. This flexible approach lets students split their time between the classroom and home-based learning, ensuring they get the best of both worlds.
